Beyond the arena, the town of Prescott comes alive with parades, street dances, arts and crafts, and patriotic celebrations the whole family will enjoy.     Celebrate the Prescott Rodeo in true Western style with signature cocktails and drink specials available Thursday through Saturday at Bistro and Fire and Sword, located inside Hotel St. Michael on historic Whiskey Row. Whether you're here for the rodeo or just the revelry, we’re pouring bold flavors and local spirit all weekend long.

    Featured Rodeo Cocktails

    Vaquero Cafe – $13
    Makers 46 French Oak Bourbon, Licor 43 Spanish Liqueur, cold-pressed coffee, and egg white.

    8 Second Ride – $12
    Big Nose Kate Western Whiskey, Angostura Amaro, Luxardo Maraschino, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

    Sundown Scorcher – $12
    JaJa Reposado Tequila, jalapeño, cucumber, house Curaçao, and lime—smooth with a kick.

    Red, White, and Boom – $10
    A bomb-style cocktail made with Stoli Vodka, Blue Curaçao, Grenadine, and RumChata—drop the shot and chug for a patriotic punch.

    Available during all operating hours at both Bistro and Fire and Sword. Walk in off Whiskey Row, grab a seat, and enjoy cocktails crafted just for the rodeo crowd.

      Prescott Rodeo Food Specials

      Celebrate the Prescott Rodeo with bold flavors at Bistro and Fire and Sword, located inside the historic Hotel St. Michael on Whiskey Row. From July 3–5, we’re serving up exclusive food specials designed to keep the rodeo spirit alive from sunrise to sundown.

      Brunch Specials | 7AM–2PM
      Cowboy Breakfast – $22
      Two eggs your way with a chargrilled 5oz hand-cut top sirloin, two green chili cheese enchiladas, and your choice of side.

      Cowboy Burger – $19
      A ½ pound house-ground beef patty topped with smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, and your choice of side.

      Dinner Specials | 3PM–9PM
      (Note: Bistro will remain open until 9PM on Thursday, July 3—an hour later than usual.)

      Grilled Ribeye – $36
      10oz chargrilled ribeye topped with caramelized onions and mushrooms, served with beer-battered steak potatoes and asparagus.

        Prescott Rodeo

        The Prescott Rodeo proudly holds the title of the “World’s Oldest Rodeo.” Established on July 4, 1888, in Prescott, Arizona Territory, it was the first formalized rodeo event to charge admission, offer prizes, and document the competition—setting the standard for modern rodeo as a spectator sport .

        Historical Significance
        The inaugural event, termed a “Cowboy Tournament,” featured bronc riding, steer roping, and cow pony racing. Juan Leivas, a cowboy from Big Sandy Valley, won the “Best Cowboy” award, a trophy now displayed at the Sharlot Hall Museum in Prescott.

        Modern-Day Celebration
        Today, the Prescott Rodeo is a week-long celebration held annually around the Fourth of July. The 2025 rodeo is scheduled from June 30 to July 6 at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds . The event features eight thrilling performances, showcasing traditional rodeo competitions such as:
